SquadsPage content: Personnel : Squad rules : Squad members : Team selection NSW Fencing runs weekly training sessions for selected squad members in all three weapons, under the Head Coach, Antonio Signorello. PersonnelAntonio has recuited a number of members and coaches to assist him in conducting squad training and managing teams. NSWFA thanks all of them for their help in maximising the effort put into our squad training program. Squad rules 2010A) Fencers are selected on a 3 monthly basis. B) Fencers not attending regularly might be substituted C) Fencers must confirm their acception of selection by return email D) Every last week of the month will be held a "Season team Championship" E) Every last week of the month will be held a "Maxipool Championship" F) Only number 1 in AFF ranking "must" be selected G) Fencers are selected by the Head Coach and his assistants based on: H) Epeists are"invited" to a free entrance from the Epee TD I) All fencers of all weapon will train weekly Squad members 2010Senior squadsThe following fencers have been selected for squad participation for the first term [Feb, Mar, Apr] of 2010, commencing on Tuesday 2nd February. All weapons will meet weekly, with sabre commencing at 5pm and foil and epee at 6pm. Please note, the fee for Tuesday night squads has increased to $8 - $6 for squad practice plus $2 for armourer's service. Men's Foil: Women's Foil: Men's Sabre: Women's Sabre: Epee Squads: Junior SquadsAll squads commence in the first week of March. Sabre: Men's Foil: Women's Foil: Epee: There is an $8 fee for all squads which may be paid weekly. If you participate in more than one squad session per week, squads members are asked to pay $15 at the Tuesday squad session which will include the junior and senior session and the Friday session. Team selectionsThe NSWFA Executive has prepared a discussion paper on selection policy to encourage member views on this topic. All comments will be considered carefully in the drafting of a selection policy to guide the Selection Commission. Please mark your comments using Track Changes in the attached Word document (or create your own Word document) and return via email to secretary@nswfencing.org.au.
