Venues

Nearly all NSWFA organised competitions – National, State and Schools events – are held at the Steel Park  Leisure Centre (PCYC Marrickville) at 531 Illawarra Road, Marrickville, NSW 2204.

Some competitions may be hosted by clubs, e.g. Marconi, and this is noted in the timetable.

The Marrickville venue can be reached via:  

Train: Take the Bankstown Line to Marrickville Station – turn left into Illawarra Road when you exit the station and walk about 10 mins to the venue.  

Bus: Take bus route 423 from Castlereagh Street in the city – stopping at Stand C, Railway Square (Central) – to Illawarra Road, Marrickville. The bus stops outside the Steel Park Leisure Centre.  

Car: There is free parking adjacent to the sports centre and in surrounding streets.  

The Steel Park Café, hosted by Angela and George, is open during fencing events for food and drinks.
