The NSW Fencing Association runs an extensive series of competitions throughout the year. In addition, the Australian Fencing Federation (AFF) has a series of open and age-based tournaments. Members of NSW Fencing are eligible to enter any individual tournament run by NSWFA or the AFF: for more information see the NSWFA Comps and AFF Comps pages of this website. For tournaments run by other State Associations, please contact the relevant Association directly.
At the international level, the Federation Internationale d'Escrime (FIE) runs Grand Prix, World Cup and World Championships events. Strict eligibility rules apply for entering FIE events: for more information, see the Elite Fencers section of this website.
The competition timetable on this page shows all NSWFA and AFF competitions, together with FIE events that may be of interest to NSW fencers (e.g. World/Zone Championships, and events taking place in Australia).
