NSW Fencing runs a Summer Training Camp in early January of every year, and a Winter Junior Development Camp in June. There may also be AFF camps throughout the year.

NSWFA Summer Training Camp

The 2006 Summer Training Camp was held in the week of 8-21 January, and incorporated

• Competition Training (all weapons, adult and junior fencers over 16)
• Junior Development (foil only)
• Under 11/13 (foil only)
• Adult Novices (foil only)

Details for the 2008 Summer Training Camp are not yet available.

NSWFA Winter Junior Development Camp

The 2008 Winter Junior Development Camp will be held on the weekend of 21-22 June at MLC School Aquatic & Sports Complex, Park Road, Burwood.

U17 & U15
- Saturday 12 midday to 5pm
- Sunday 9am to 4pm
U13 & U11
- Sunday only, 9am to 4pm

Fitness, training, individual and team bouting, drills & tactics will be covered.

This training and development camp will be of great benefit to those who intend to enter the U15/U17 National Championships.

Participants will need to bring Electric Gear (hire available on prior request) and food/drink, as there are no canteen facilities available. 

Cost:
- two days: $40
- one day: $30
- half day: $20

AFF Epee Camps

The AFF will be running 6 National Epee Camps prior to National and International Competitions in 2007.

These camps are part of an ongoing national programme to provide athletes with the opportunity to develop and refine their individual skills. Camps will be open to all Epee fencers who wish to attend.
