AdministrationPage content: Executive : Committee : Commissions The administrative structure of the New South Wales Fencing Association is as follows. ExecutiveThe Executive consists of the office bearers of the Association plus three ordinary Executive Members. The office bearers and the three ordinary members are elected at the Annual General Meeting. The Executive is, as the name suggests, responsible for the management of the Association. Members of the Executive chair the various Commissions, which are where the real work of the Association is carried out. The frequency of Executive meetings is discretionary: in practice, however, the Executive meets at least monthly. Current members of the Executive are listed on the Office Bearers page of this Website. CommitteeThe Committee consists of the Executive plus delegates from affiliated clubs and a delegate from the coaches organisation (if it exists). The Committee is essentially a forum for disseminating information to members via their Club Delegates. The Committee must meet four times a year (more often if a member calls for a meeting with good cause). CommissionsThe working unit of the Association is the Commission, a full list of which may be found on the Commissions page of this website. Each Commission is chaired by a member of the Committee, and may co-opt members and non-members as necessary in order achieve the objectives of the Association (as defined in the Rules).
